What transgender dates look like is a mystery to many guys. Although they want to gain that new experience, they are afraid they might do or say the wrong thing and offend their date. Well, you should know that trans dating isn’t that much different from cis dating. Just in case, here are some lines you should avoid saying on your first transgender date.
OK, let’s take it from the top. Telling any girl that you are nervous on your date won’t make her attracted to you. Actually, you might get stuck in the friend zone. And once you go friend zone, you never go back. Girls like confident guys who know what they want. Also, when you are on a TS date, telling her that you are nervous might make her feel self-conscious. She might feel like you are nervous just because she is trans (and not because of your low self-esteem) and that can suck the romance out of your date.
Although you may think this is cute, it can come off as a little bit creepy. Also, trans women and not ready to share details from their past with every guy who comes along. Don’t make her feel like she is on an interview. You should ask her about her hobbies or interests, but talk about yours, too. Your conversation should be a two-way street.
This is so vague it hurts. When a guy says that, he usually has no intention on calling. It’s like those coffee dates you make with a friend you haven’t seen in ages, and you just know you will never meet. So, if you like a girl be specific. During your romantic evening, implement something about your next date, like a movie you should see or a wine you should try. This way she will know that you want to see her again.
Your grandma looks nice. When you are on a date, replace the word nice with something more dynamic. Keep the focus on her, not her gender. So anything that includes “for a trans woman” is out of the question.
