For some reason, most people assume that actors and musicians aren’t very bright. We love to know everything about them, check out what famous people Snapchat and all, but we still think they are a little bit dumb. In order to break down the stereotypes, we have made a list of celebs who have high IQ and are smarter than most people. Keep in mind that only 5 percent of the population scores above 125 when you are reading these lines.

James Franco – 130

Yap, the guy who acts in all those stoner movies is actually a genius. Not only does he have a high IQ, he also graduated from UCLA, Columbia University, NYU, Brooklyn College, Warren Wilson College, and is a PhD student at Yale University.

Conan O’Brien – 160

Conan O’Brien is known for his sense of humor, not his intelligence. However, this comedian and a talk show host was valedictorian of his class. After that he graduated from Harvard University.

Lisa Kudrow – 154

It may sound weird, but goofy Phoebe form Friends is actually a genius. She graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Science.

Natalie Portman – 140

She isn’t one of the famous people Snapchat names, but we would love to get a glimpse into her brilliant life. She has a degree in psychology from Harvard University. She also pursued graduate courses at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She’s been published twice in scientific journals, was a research assistant at Harvard, and is fluent in over five languages. Well done Natalie!

Mayim Bialik – 150-163

Mayim Bialik not only plays a neurobiologist on The Big Bang Theory, but she has PhD in neuroscience from UCLA in real life. She was also accepted to Harvard and Yale, but she chose to attend school closer to home. Wow, this girl is smart on screen as well as off screen.

Nicole Kidman – 132

We would just love to see her name on the list of famous people on Snapchat. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts, then at the Phillip Street Theatre in Sydney and attended the Australian Theatre for Young People.

Steve Martin – 142

This is a huge surprise. Did you know that this funny guy actually wanted to become a professor, but in the end he transferred to UCLA to major in theater. Well, we are glad he did, because this guy has been making us laugh for decades now.
